I HATE MONO!!!

Mono almost ruined yet another weekend of mine....but I just ended up forcing myself to go through with my plans. It was hard to resist considering my plans were to go down to Tokyo to see a championship basketball game played by Megumi's boyfriend's team. I am so glad we went!! What I saw was what I would expect Amercian College games to be like.....school bands, a packed stadium, cheerleaders and proper commentary. The game was close for almost the entire game but Waseda (Shogo's team) pulled ahead in the last quarter to pull off the win!! It was so exciting!!

On another happy note, the World Cup is among us and I have managed to see almost every game so far on my shitty little TV in my bedroom. Better than nothing right? Except the commentary is in Japanese. Oh well...it's good listening practice.
