Bonsai Bonanza
So everyone who I've talked to in Japan says that they love their hair cut experiences here. I went for the first time today and although I was a little nervous that I would walk out with a really messed up and maybe too Japanese-esque hairstyle, I was still interested to see what all the fuss was about. Well let me say, I have never seen so many different types of scissors nor have I seen someone spend so much time cutting another person's hair. I was really impressed and came out feeling like I just had the best haircut of my life. Sounds a bit corny, I know....but my hair stylist, Ryuta, gave my head of hair the amount of attention that you would expect someone to give to a Bonsai tree. My head is now a live piece of art (ok maybe that's going too far haha).
